Nicholas D. Barringer, PhD, RD, CSCS

Nick Barringer currently serves as the program director for the Army-Baylor Masters Program in Nutrition. He served as an assistant professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Previously while working at the United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine, Nick researched Warfighter nutritional requirements in differing environments, including deployed Special Operators. Nick served in the 75th Ranger Regiment as a member of the Ranger Athlete Warrior (RAW) program, where he oversaw the nutrition and aspects of the physical training of Rangers. Nick received his undergraduate degree in dietetics from the University of Georgia, and his doctorate in kinesiology from Texas A&M.
