Sheyla Leon

Sheyla Leon is an incoming third year undergraduate student at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She assists with research at the Exercise and Sports Nutrition Laboratory at Texas A&M University. Leon is working as a Medical Analyst at Brazos Spine Medical Clinic in College Station. She has utilized her National Health Career Association Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NHA-CPT) license by practicing phlebotomy on firefighters through the Texas A&M University Tactical Athlete Research Unit founded by Dr. Drew Gonzalez. Leon is currently also completing her Emergency Medical Technicians-Basic (EMT-B) licensure. She hopes to continue on to medical school with aspirations of becoming a physician in the future.
